For Professionals

Dennis   "What a relief! My clients often are under the stress of family caregiving. Now I have a place I tell them about, with information they can access 24/7. …This website even has resources for my own professional growth."

Mercy Hospice and Palliative Care is committed to supporting patients and their families by also supporting the persons who serve them: you, the professionals in our community. Like birth, death touches us on many levels: socially, spiritually, physically, and psychologically. Whether you are directly involved in the delivery of medical care, or have clients who find themselves coping with serious illness, you have the ability to touch these families profoundly during a vulnerable life passage.
Our website is available to assist you in your work. Not only are there materials for your customers, but we also provide you with evidence-based research findings, educational resources, and information about training opportunities. We even offer research specific to end-of-life care in South Carolina, as well as educational resources for professional self-care to help you avoid burnout and replenish your internal well.
It takes a village to care for the seriously ill, and the more we work together, the stronger our village will become. If you have questions, we’re here to help. By all means, give us a call at 843-347-5500 or use our "Ask the Expert" email feature. And check out our resource pages below:
